Probability
Juz reach home from sch... waiting for my dinner, can spend some time here blogging... Inspired by my probability lecturer over a question: Suppose u arrange for a date with someone and decided that u all meet between 12- 1, if both of u all follow a uniform distribution, what is the probabilty that one will wait for the other longer than 10 mins? He made a few comments in the process which i find interesting... normally the one arriving earlier or on time tends to value the date more since the one coming late did not really treasure the date - If he/she not happy so be it... how true is that? i also dunno... haha! Anyway, the probability is around 70%
