Time out.. i nid a break. i deserve this break. (hmm i wonder...) hehz.

haven been blogging regularly. There are so mani things to blog but i jus dunno where to begin.

There's too mani outstanding matters. cant seem to finish them. PAH mkting is not easy. i realli nid lotsa motivation and drive. I nid them...

Lect has been fun. not tat the lecturer is gd. my companions are simply hilarious. =p we got lotsa to catch up brethrens. Letter writing for ah pek, scandalous pui, ME qiu qiu dui, beni's concerts etc. We've got too mani side quests. Time to focus brethrens. 4 tests rite after CNY. Tats madness. I bet everyone will pity us. "tsk tsk, engineering is pathetic" - i can hear someone commenting tat...

Haven been exercising. Errr jun jun when can we go gym again.. i'm getting fat. I'm seriously serious. condemn xinyi's fat measuring device. CONDEMNED!!! i bet its faulty.

Term paper is realli a pain in the arse. But we've always been the best project grp rite? lol. got beni as our grp leader, we'll get A+ rite?? Yup its been decided. We are not gonna s/u tat gek.

Went for Yishun reading stars yesterday. I've got a new kid. hehx. he's called owen. (actually he's Ou Wen) Mabe 割爱 and handed owen to me. haha. Ya he's realli a very nice kid, thx Mabe. buahaha. He's feeling very 'tickled' yesterday. Kept laffing and ended up drooling.. eww.. But he's overly motivated by the 'star reward system'. He kept insisting tat i shud give him 3 stars so tat he can win the 'grand prize'. But i gave him 2 and explained that one star is to reward me for being such a wonderful teacher. =p To think tat he actually buy tat.. gullible kid.. muahaha...

Oooo actually i think junhui deserve tat star.. hahha.. he's realli a wonderful teacher. *salute* I bet not mani of us have the experience of wiping a kid's 屁股.

dun like the feeling of being misunderstood. how i wish we din get to learn abt the truth. saddening rite?? but it's okie.. 我不记仇的 lorx.. haha.

hapie bdae moo moo chua!

We have been indulging ourselves in songs from F4 during recent KTV sessions, though our KTV sessions have been far and few in between.

One song is "第一时间” . A very nice song, and with much coincidence, I heard the song 3 times in 2 weeks at this ungodly hour over the radio. The 2nd time was 2 days ago.

Well, I really like this song, though i gotta admit the beat is rather hard for me to catch.

Memory -- Three Theoretical Spaces

1. Short-Term Sensory Storage
2. Short-Term Memory
3. Long-Term Memory

This is what I learnt for my human factors engineering module... Whenever we are exposed to information, it will go through these three stages. Firstly, in stage 1, we usually make a decision whether to "entertain" the information. This normally took less abt 0.5 to 1 sec to process. So human always choose to entertain things they are interested in while ignoring the rest. After choosing to acknowlegde the stimulus, it will undergo stage 2. It become part of our short-term memory also known as working memory. There are many ways in which people make use of their working memory. One of the useful way is to give it a semantic meaningfulness i.e. try to link it to our other memories so that we don't just remember the incident by itself. The poorest way is through rehearsal. Most of us probably study for our exams that way(last min). Haha...

Lastly,it will become our long-term memory. Our long-term memory is like our computer hard-disk with a lot of memory space. How well we can retrieve these vast source of memories depends on how one choose to organise. The good thing is that once it is in our long-term memory, it will unknowningly stay with us. It only depends on whether the person wanna retrieve the piece of "information". Exceptions are when deteroiation with age and illness.

Hence, we can always choose to ignore some unwanted memories but it still will stay with us till the day we die. But the good thing is that we get to choose... isn't it? May our hard-disk be always filled with wonderful memories.
