Moi sec sch gathering on 210707, and 7 went.

I had my lower sec class gathering today. As usual, I am the organiser, and I have to admit I suck at planning such stuff. In the end, the attendance is abysmal as only 7 including me turned up. There was supposed to be 9 reporting but 1 had to change plans due to an abrupt family dinner and the other one was not forthcoming since the former had withdrawn her attendance.

However, the mini gathering of 7 was a good thing. Dinner at parklane steamboat in Bugis was a jolly affair, surrounded by the rising mists of the tom yam and chicken broth. The atmosphere was chirpy and everyone talked freely and easily like time was never lost on our side. Simple fare, but great company.

Dinner came to an end with me clearing up most of the leftovers and we decided to catch a movie after much deliberation. I did not plan any post-dinner event as I thought impromptu decisions, being free and easy, goes. "Alone" was chosen and after checking that The Cathay was showing it at 1145pm, we made our way down by foot while 2 left the 'file' and went by their own transport. Sorry to Sk, Cuz I had watched the show. Well, if you insist, I do not mind watching it over again. Haa.

There was no more tickets at The Cathay and luck was not on our side again as we tried Golden Village at Plaza Sing. After verifying that Jurong Point had more than enough seats, we booked our place for the show at 1210am.

After booking our seats, and having a dire need to pacify our legs, numb and placid from walking the distance, we went The Cafe Cartel at Plaza Sing for a drink. It was mere coincidence that I managed to spot Mayi there with her friends and blur sotong did not realise I went into Cafe Cartel too till I smsed her. Quite amazed that she managed to spot me leaving before her because I got the notion that I will have to wave like crazy to get her attention. She is improving.

Well, the movie went ok. In the end, it was taxi-fare.

Great to have such a informal gathering with lesser people. Easier to talk, more comfortable in their presence. My next destination will be wala wala. 2B peeps, gather. Mark the decade!!

The Long Vacation...

Usually, I would love this long period of rest. 3 months break after the last paper. The best time of the year. Haha. But I start my part time work after my last paper. Poor communication I guess. My mum told my uncle my last paper is on 3 May. Then my uncle assumed I will be working straight away and told his boss I will be working on 4 May. Hmmm... No choice. I got the news from my mum after my last paper celebration in the nite. LPPL. Hehe.

So much stuff happened during this break??? No. Due to work commitment, life is quite dull and routine. Everyday, I would crawl up early in the morning to catch my uncle's lorry to tuas to work. Yes tuas, so duper wulu place in Spore. There can only find ban-ga-la aunties uncles and a lot of other foreign workers. Super duper Sianz. The pay is average at 6/hr. But no choice, dun wanna waste time searching for another job. Was very boring at first cos nothing much to do. I mainly stay in the office to 'help' out in indoor sales. My work consists of calling companies to check price of items, distribute/printing/filing documents, diverting calls, siaming sai gangz... Nowadays, quite busy cos economy is doing so well that orders keep coming in. Heard they will be hiring 3 perm indorr sales after I leave next week. Anyway, got used to the routine work and time passes fast each day. Mixed feelings on my last week next week. Happy to break out of my routine life but a bit sian to go back to sch soon. Haiz.

Overall, nothing much happened this vacation. Last year spend too much time slacking with ethelonter and stuff. Thats why I wanna concentrate on earning some income this vacation. Looking forward to the KL trip with my bros early Aug. See Ya!

090707 - CY jie jie Graduation , Dinner @ Kim Gary , Harry's Bar

Ah pek and I went for cy jie jie commencement in the morning. Ehmm actually we reached there in the afternoon cos we were late. buahaha.. Beni took half-day leave and rushed down after his work. I bet u spent most of your pay on cab fare. lol

We went Vivo City after tat and decided to 搞破坏 at all the shops since we gotta wait for the rest. Tat crazy beni went River Island to try on the suit and i took a picture of his zuai look. Crazy beni oso went PageOne Bookstore to search for his martial arts book in the 藏经阁. The PageOne bookstore is like a maze. Rather hard to navigate around. But I kinda like the place. Quiet and cosy. Then we went adidas to play table soccer where crazy beni kept bugging the sales assistant for the rubber ball. Crazy beni started trying on all the jackets and posed with the mannequins.

080707 - Family Visit @ my bro's workplace

Woke up damn early on a sunday morning and travelled all the way to the East to visit my Bro's workplace. Haha at least it's worth the trip larz cos i got to take a picture wif Master Yoda!!!. Realli an eye-opener cos got to see lotsa cool animation stuff and how they create some cool scenes in Transformers. Fwah. Realli speechless.

050707 - Hwee hwee Graduation

Congratulations Hwee hwee!!! Pek and CY were there too. haha. we wanna crash all the commencements sia. Nah it was coincidental larx. We just happened to bump into each other there. The reception food was swept away in less than half an hr lorx. I din even get to eat the crisp of the springroll lorx.

Back to camp...

Having my 2nd in camp training, 8 more ICT to go. wa piangz.... Finally get to sleep on my bed after staying in camp for 1 week. Almost forgot the feeling of waking up early in the morning wearing uniform and boots, going cookhouse, IPPT, wrestling with fellow course mates and sleeping with a bunch of guys.

This stupid in camp made me miss PAH qing gong yan and ethelonter 4. sigh. realli quite sian tat i cant go for the friday qing gong yan. I was having nite training - wad a lousy day. Feeding mosquitoes under the scorching sun in the afternoon; training in the rain in the evening; lying on mud in the nite. We having driving course for the past few days. Initially realli tot that i can make it for the qgy. Suay suay friday got nite driving and suay suay it rained. We had to remove the drain plugs from the tanks after we went back to camp. So we had to crawl underneath the tank and unscrew all the plugs, ended up drinking the muddy water. By the time we booked out it was alreadi 11pm and still wearing the stinko uniform. BAH....

Well bo bian. Maybe next wed can meet beni and ah chua to watch ethelonter 4 cluedo nite. Scully suay suay got nite training again. diaoz wth...

But this in camp made me meet up with my long lost frens. We jus have so much to talk abt and crap. We barely see each other outside and even if we see each other along the streets, it was jus hi-bye and some simple greetings. It was more of a get-together session wif fellow army frens and updating each other abt their life outside and stuff.

This coming Monday having SAF Day parade. Crap. Making a NSman go for parade. Greatest joke sia. They gonna regret it sia. I bet the NSmen will screw up the parade wif their sloppy attire and attitude. buahaha....
