Busy week - eventful, memorable (1)

Too mani things to blog abt but too lazy to type. buahaha. Holy cow. i'm getting real lazy nowadays. Have been busy working and PAH-ing. Rest of this week gonna be 'ME' time. I realli nid more 'ME' time. (hehz got this term from beni's blog)

Been taking lotsa pics lately. gonna dump all the pics in this post. buahhaa. pls dun blame me if it takes veri long to load. =p oh ya btw, cy jie jie all the pics have been uploaded le oo. yea i noe i'm one week late. haha.

Jow and i meet up wif pui, ah pek, beni, moo moo chua and hwee hwee after our work and we had yummy 煮炒 dinner @ gluttons bay. While Junli 痴痴地在clementi 等我们。pai seh manz ah jun. Tat ah soh nua-ing at home and meet up wif us after the dinner.

Forgot when was the last time we ktv-ed. But sing till 3am is realli 太疯了. Dun think i'm gonna try it again. 通宵麻将都没比这个凶. Kept dozing off in the storeroom the next day. Jow jow ended doing all the work alone. buahaha.

Choir 的果然就是不一样。Cy jie jie voice is damn zai. She can realli sing all the 高难度 songs effortlessly. A trend tat i realise... All the zai pple i noe likes to sing ah-mei songs huh? o_O (onli applied to gals. did u realise tat too, beni???)

Cy jie jie mus organise another 10 dollar ktv @ chinatown soon k. buahaha...

Err... suppose to blog abt PAH too but gonna go out soon. Shall post PAH stuff tml...

I guess you have been wondering what the heck is this Thursday's moo moo chua about. Well, if you have been a fond and loyal visitor of this blog, you must have come to realise a trend that I have been setting. I love to create columns in this blog and the notable ones include "spooky tales", which was the forefathers of the respective columns that follow. Other better ones include "Mr Black and Mr white", "The Adventures of Bubble" and my most accomplished masterpiece,

"Friday night is the mood for love."

Now, why choose a name that sounds remotely similar to "Friday", except the difference in the day of the week? Actually, Friday was chosen last time simply because I love the name and the very atmosphere at that time of night creates the perfect mood for blogging. Furthermore, Sk is my mutual advisor cum buddy during the journey back home after Yishun session where we breached on the topic "love". The journey was never boring. However, my inspiration started to wane after the stop of Yishun sessions and hence the end of "Friday".

Besides, Thursday has its important significance in my heart. Thursday was the day when the first girl that I really liked called me over the phone to talk because she was bored and though the entire conversation lasted less then 5 minutes, that was enough for me to remember it for a good ten years. I remembered another time when I hummed a tune which I created to her over the phone and it was Thursday too. Thursdays are when miracles happen.

In addition, my first sweet outing with my buddy happens to be a Thursday, if my memory serves me well. And and and~~ her birthday falls on a Thursday this year. And my birthday is on Thursday this year too!!! Haa..

Thursdays are when miracles happen and when we take a sip of moo moo chua.

Intrigued that I use 默默茶 (moo moo chua)?

Because moo moo chua is actually a fantastic friend and a 好男人. I am not doing an advertisement for him but whoever marries him will be very blissful, that is for sure. I am just stating plain facts.

However, that does not really answer the question yet.

Hence, here comes to the most intrinsic part of this post. This new column's aim is to write about the views and things that the 好男人 will do and will not do. It will probably stretches till my birthday, which will mark the end of this column. Hopefully, this will be fun and enjoyable.

Paint-A-Home 2007

Being tasked to report on the happenings yesterday. Yes, the foursome has once unite and went to the NUS CSC Special Poject - Paint A Home. This is the first time most of us participate in this event with the exception of ah jun who went last year. This year event is more exciting as the main comm consist of mainly Yishuners. ah Jun and ah kuang are both in the logistics and marketing this time round. Benny got other commitments while i too lazy to join such things. Hehe... You really need a lot of commitment to participate in such projects.

Anyway, yesterday was an enjoyable day. We gathered at Bishan Mrt around 9a.m. Surprised tt ah Kuang was not late, but Benny was late as usual. Had a long briefing in the Bishan Home for the Intellectual-Disabled upon arrival. I did not register for the project. Hence i just join Benny's grp. Who to blame for this??? #%$@*! Anyway, Together with hua jie, e three of us were tasked with our grp members to paint the LF room. Why is it called the Low Function room, i also dunno... Everything went chop chop and we managed to finish one layer by lunch. Anyway, most of our grp memebrs were jc students and there was not much interactions with them.

After lunch, six of our grp were spilted to participate with the 'interactions' with the residents while the rest continued painting. It was a scary sight for most of us when the residents came in. Their behavior are not something we would normally see. Most are quite friendly as they would offer to shake hands. Others would just wonder round aimlessly or some just sit quietly in one corner. I even notice one resident who kept folding her bedsheets throughout the sessions. You do feel for them if you ever see such scenes. Most was never given a choice. So let us treasure watever is given to us.

We played a few simple games such as passing the parcel, musical chairs.... Benny, his friend and i were entertained by this female resident during the game session. She offered to shake our hands upon seeing us. See guys she would say yan dao kea, see gals she would say swee. Dunno why she say i look like her uncle? #$%@ Heard from benny friend tt while she was fiddling with benny friend's hairs, she ask her to call her grandma. Interesting man this lady. Haha. Later during the tea-break, those residents doing handicraft downstairs came to join us. One uncle resident came to shake my hand. I happily say "Nice to meet you" and all of a sudden he give me a hug. It caught me by surprise but it does feels good after tt. We then move out of the hall to learn some dance steps from the YMCA people. But we siam after tt to go back to the LF room. The intial drawing were beautifully drawn on the walls by then. Hence our task were susposedly end for the day. Our grp dispersed. Went to look for ah jun they all. Then decide to help them out in the sai gan. Washing those stupid brushes and rollers took a really damm long time with onli one water source at the water point.

Went to Junction 8 1st to wait for ah jun and ah kuang. The five of us: me, ah pek, hua jie, benny, and his friend i think call Pei Pei had a drink at the Mac while waiting for them. We chit chat and talk abt the happenings for the day. Later, we had dinner at Pasta-Mania. Nowadays, very hard to decide on place to eat since beeny is a vegetarian till 8 June. Went home after tt. Till next Saturday shall we continued on our adventure.

ah jun & ah kuang: looks like i dun need to blog for a long time. haha.
